Were you banned from the Marching Band Discord and wish to rejoin? Well lucky for you, we have a Ban Appeal process that you can utilize!
Simply fill out to submit the appeal, which the MBD mod team will then review in-depth to determine if you should be allowed to rejoin the server under a zero-tolerance policy for 6 months.
When filling out the form, please be sure to read all of the instructions carefully. Appeals submitted with incorrect information will not be accepted. You have only one attempt at submitting an appeal, so don't mess it up!
In an effort to keep moderation at a reasonable level between both the Marching Band and Drum Corps servers, we perform cross-server bans between the two. If someone is banned on DCD, the MBD mod team will discuss and determine if they should also be banned on MBD. Banned users only have to appeal once, and if accepted, are un-banned on both servers with the same zero-tolerance policy on both.
Server members can be immune to cross-server bans (meaning that if you were banned on DCD, you would not be banned on MBD) if they fall into BOTH of the following requirements:
Member is an already active member of the other server.
This can be met in at least one of the following ways:
Be a 'Regular' on the server
Have at least 100 messages in the past month
Have at least 250 messages in the past 3 months
Member is in good standing in the other server.
This can be met in at least one of the following ways:
Be a 'Regular' on the server
Have no #mod-log infractions within the last 3 months AND no kicks/bans for the entirety of your time in the server
If you receive an exemption based on the criteria above, you are not later eligible for a ban appeal if you are eventually banned later on the other server.
If you receive an exemption based on the criteria above, you are on a 30 day zero-tolerance policy on the other server. This means that any action that would qualify as a #mod-log infraction would instead be a ban.
The other server's mod team can withhold an exemption based on the given situation, even if the user meets all of the requirements listed above.
Being a 'Regular' in the other server automatically makes you eligible for an exemption. To apply for Regular on MBD, . To apply for Regular on DCD, .
